The time to buy psvr was last year, this year its time for a racing wheel (1st time I ever considered one) to take the vr driving experience into overdrive. Dirt Rally and Driveclub here I come.
If you like driving games then Dirt Rally is your system seller
If you like horror games Resident Evil is your system seller
Anyone who tried the x-wing level in Battlefront knows that if a full version is made it will be a license to print money.
The system seller is the immersion, it does not translate in gameplay videos but once you are in the driver seat, cockpit, rollercoaster etc the experience is amazing. Once people try it the majority w...
excellent news, but why is this on the PS4 tab? if I want to this news I will go to the xbox section
For me what is not good enough is the xbox variety of games, I am their key demographic, I own PS4 Pro, OG PS4, PSVR , Switch , WII U, Vita, PS3 and have gamed on multiple platforms since Atari days. Sony and Nintendo deliver the goods and the goods are games, good ones at that. The Xbox One as nothing that makes me go yep I must have that console. I should note I bought my 1st Nintendo console (Gamecube) simply because the exclusive Star Wars launch game had me hooked instantly when I saw ...
Why is this on the ps4 tab at all?, the article makes no reference to ps4 in any way.
For years I thought the tabs purpose was for me to weed out the chaff that does not talk about the platform I am interested in. I am pretty sure xbox owners do not want to read articles that make no mention of the xbox either and only talk about ps4.
No gaming experience I have had in over 30 years can beat the immersion I have had playing in VR so I have wasted jack mate.
Dirt Rally is simply awesome, Rush of Blood literally will get your stomach rolling as if on a real rollercoaster and Resident Evil is amazing in vr...so you keep telling yourself that and I will keep supporting technology that pushes the boundaries of the hobby I love
Constant price cuts! these are Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales ffs
The majority of people who actually own vr are going to find it an awesome experience, I know for me driving games are simply amazing in vr. Is it for everyone NO but why some people bash it and seem to want vr in general to fail is beyond me.
As an early adopter I am not upset it is getting these deals around the holidays, I am pleased it will be in the hands of even more users beca...
yes I'm new to this hobby if you count starting back in Atari days. I should have said new obsession of Xbox fanboys because they didn't talk much smack comparing base ps4 to xbox one.
Last gen the jump to 720p and 1080p was easily noticeable for any one with eyes but now the returns are diminished and most people are not going to see huge leaps no matter what the fanboys claim.
I have a day 1 ps4 and a ps4 pro (mainly bought for performance boost...
I can't wait till next year and the God of War, Spider-Man etc begin to drop and we can talk about actual games and gameplay and not this new obsession of 300% zoom in pixel counts.
If you own a PS4 your games look great and Pro owners get an upgrade, same goes for Xbox owners and their games but if the game is pants then ultimately who cares how many pixels it has!
Well I love the game, have unlocked vader and luke now well on my way to the emperor in just a few gaming sessions. I will never buy any credits for cash but I don't see that I would need to anyway to have fun within this game.
Lets see if I can set a record for disagrees because I like a game the internet as deemed I should hate
IMO HDR is the true gamer changer when it comes to night and day visual upgrades and Sony had the sense to update ALL versions of PS4 for HDR. I had a pre HDR 4K tv until this week and going back to play games like Ratchet and Clank and Second Son with HDR on shows a far more noticeable visual upgrade than going 1080p to 4k.
I know HDR enabled games will now take priority when I make future game purchases
How funny that we keep getting told exclusives don't matter or are bad for the industry because Microsoft choose not to invest in them other than Halo, Gears Forza repeat. Meanwhile Sony and Nintendo continue to provide award winning experiences in every generation, this is why I owned PS2 and Gamecube, PS3 and Wii U and now PS4 and Switch. Guess what I don't get to miss out on the best of the 3rd party titles either.
Obviously I meant all PS4's have HDR not 4K
I have had a pro for year on a 4K tv without HDR, this week I upgraded my tv and to be honest HDR is the real game changer that makes much more of a visual impact than that from the upgrade from 1080 to 4K.
I should note all PS4 's have the ability for 4k, this is what Sony should focus on because they can offer this stunning upgrade to many more people
What as this story got to do with the PS4 or Sony in general?
Nothing! so why on earth is it on the PS4 tab?
I bought the pro last year and I am very happy with it because I had 2 tangible reasons to own it
1. I have a 4k tv so the visual upgrade is nice, but I will always choose performance boost over visual boost if I can in settings
2. Most importantly I have psvr and the upgrade to performance is the real reason the pro exists imo
Pro and xbox x are aimed at a small demographic of their user base, yet people are spouting off as if ps4 is dead in the water......
Why is this in the PS4 section? I have noticed of late the designated sections mean nothing. If I was interested in news of xbox consoles or switch I would hit their tab instead.
probably because it is also the most powerful current console on which the majority of 3rd party games look and play better, offers an overall wider choice of genres along with a larger stable of 1st party studios ...can't think why they are selling!
I didn't realize you could play original XBOX games on an Xbox One...when they give this ability with upgraded resolution and added achievements all for zero dollars let me know.
why are you so anti VR, you obviously do not own one yourself but what is your fixation on downplaying VR to others?
It's one thing sing from the rooftops about something you really like but to comment so much about something you don't is weird to me. Are you a paid shill for a rival company or just a total sucker who shills for free?
